The Sudbury Sportsman Show taking place April 8-10, 2011 has increased in size with many more exhibitors utilizing this excellent venue to market their products and services. The show has increased its space in the upstairs ( 5000 sq foot ) hall. “This will be the first time that the upper hall will be totally full of booths and exhibits. The show is going excellent with many new displays and attractions never before at this show” states Darren Ceccarelli, DAC Marketing Ltd, show producer.  

The Sudbury Sportsman Show is a Sudbury icon that has been part of the Sudbury landscape for over 30 years. The show is held at the Garson Arena and Community Centre which is the largest venue in Sudbury ( for square footage) to have trade shows. Featured at the show will be boats, RV’s, trailers, fishing outfitters, resorts, lodges, personal watercraft, motorcycles, pontoon boats, fitness equipment, clothing, boat licensing, docks, trailer
accessories, scuba equipment, portable sawmills, and much more! This year we have also
increased the door prizes to include grand prizes of a two night stay, round trip
transportation to and from the island from Dickson’s Oak Island Lodge, along
with many more prizes.  

“With the economy down the way it is, many people are searching for the
best prices and deals possible on their outdoor recreation and a trade show
is the best venue for that because many exhibitors are at the show to make
sales and deals, it’s the reason they showcase their products and services”;
“the economic pie is definitely getting smaller, so most retailers want a piece of
that pie so this in essence is the best time to purchase recreational products
and services” states Ceccarelli. “ it just makes economic sense that when
supply is up and demand is down this is the best time to consider purchases”  

Even if you’re not in the market to purchase any outdoor products, the show is a great
form of inexpensive entertainment for the family to see what‘s new in the market and spend
an afternoon get some great giveaways and chances at many door prizes.
